Donor Bill of Rights

Lists the responsibilities we owe to our donors.

Last updated: 8 October 2026

As the Human Development, Guidance and Justice Association, we are committed to respecting the rights of our donors and to offering a transparent and trustworthy giving process. In the humanitarian aid and development projects we carry out with our donors’ contributions, we consider it our duty to uphold the following rights:

1. Right to Be Informed

You have the right to know in which projects, and how, your donations are used.

You can receive accurate and up-to-date information about our association’s mission, vision and areas of activity.

You can be confident that your donations are spent in line with their purpose.

2. Transparency and Accountability

Our financial reports, activity reports and project results are shared regularly.

All your donations are recorded and reported in accordance with the relevant regulations.

3. Respect and Confidentiality

Your donor information is protected under our confidentiality principle and is not shared with third parties.

Support is provided for any questions or issues you may encounter during the donation process.

4. Right to Free Choice

The decision whether or not to donate is entirely yours, and you will never be put under any pressure.

If you donate to a specific project, we ensure that your donation is used for that project.

5. Right to Communication and Feedback

You can contact us with any question, request or feedback you may have.

Your complaints are reviewed as quickly as possible and a solution is offered.

6. Right to Recognition and Thanks

You will be thanked for your contributions and, if you wish, your name can appear on the list of those who support our projects.

You have the right to donate anonymously if you prefer.

The Human Development, Guidance and Justice Association always puts the trust of our donors first. We are honoured to contribute, with your support, to a fairer and more humane world.
