Winter Relief
In thin tents soaked by rain and shaken by the wind, with no insulation and no heating, families are trying to get through another winter.
Every winter, we receive calls for help from families who have lost everything: widowed mothers raising their children alone in freezing tents, orphans without winter clothes or blankets, families without fuel or a stove.
These families are often forgotten people in mortal danger, whom no one else reaches. This winter, we aim to stand by 1,000 families.
What are we doing with this campaign?
Stoves, fuel and firewood; thick blankets, bedding and winter clothes; tent insulation.
Food parcels for the winter months, clean drinking water and hygiene kits that help prevent disease.
Treatment for cold-related illnesses, emergency medicine, and support for mothers, babies and the elderly.
