Working Hands, Dignified Lives
One of the best ways for women to regain their self-confidence is to earn a living through their own work.
At the Khadija bint Khuwaylid Sewing Workshop and Vocational Training Centre, women who lost everything in the war will learn, work and earn in a safe environment. Each centre will provide work and training for 60 women.
Halima Kindergarten and Community Kitchen will offer free care for the children of mothers working and studying at the centre; the community kitchen will deliver hot meals to children and families every day.
At the Sumayyah Rehabilitation and Psychological Support Centre, professional therapy will be provided for women and children who have experienced trauma.
