Widow Sponsorship
Sponsoring a mother means standing by her whole family.
Mothers who lost their husbands in the war are left to raise their children alone. Through widow sponsorship, we support these mothers regularly every month.
At the Amal Widows Camp in Kah, Idlib, around 50 widowed families — close to 300 people with their children — live in a safe environment. The camp offers training courses and handicraft workshops for mothers, and education and sports for children.
What are we doing with this campaign?
We stand by mothers every month so they can meet their household’s basic needs.
Around 50 families live in a safe environment at the Amal Widows Camp.
