Al-Sakinah Camp Project

Al-Sakinah Camp Project

Definition:

This is a service project focused on managing a camp housing over one hundred families, divided into four sectors. The camp hosts 258 males and 273 females across approximately 148 tents. Among the residents, there are 9 widows and 7 divorced women. The camp is located on the eastern bypass of Azaz city, behind Al-Sakinah Mosque. The management of the camp was assumed in agreement with the local council of Azaz at the beginning of July 2024, with the aim of safeguarding residents’ rights, organizing their affairs, and addressing the injustices they had previously faced from the camp’s former administrators.

Vision:

To build an ideal community governed by a set of rules and regulations that guarantee a free and dignified life for all individuals.

Objectives:

1. To empower residents through educational lessons.
2. To foster strong relationships with camp residents.
3. To provide necessary services and relief supplies to the camp and its residents.
