The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:<\/p>\n

\u201c<\/em>The one who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this<\/strong>\u201d<\/em> and he held his two fingers close together.<\/p>\n

Inspired by this noble hadith, the One Nation Organization<\/strong> has been providing monthly financial support to orphaned children to cover their living expenses and improve their quality of life since 2018.<\/p>\n

This project goes beyond mere financial aid. It offers a comprehensive program that includes training and activities aimed at nurturing the personality of a Muslim child. These programs involve teaching Quranic verses, Hadiths, and their application in daily life, instilling Islamic values and ethics that guide children from ignorance to knowledge.<\/p>\n

The project also focuses on enhancing their linguistic skills through Arabic lessons, enabling them to read and comprehend accurately. Additionally, it brings joy to their lives through purposeful recreational activities, such as horseback riding at the Ertugrul Equestrian Club<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We aim for this initiative to be purely for the sake of Allah, asking Him to accept it and bless it abundantly.<\/p>\n

Vision and Mission<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The Orphans Sponsorship Project in Syria<\/strong> is one of the unique initiatives by the Iqra Organization<\/strong>, designed to provide an Islamic and holistic upbringing for children. It focuses on:<\/p>\n

  • Developing the intellectual, psychological, and behavioral capacities of children.<\/li>\n
  • Creating an educational environment that blends Islamic teachings with recreational and educational activities.<\/li>\n
  • Preparing children to become active and positive members of the Islamic community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    1. Arabic Language:<\/strong> Improving reading and writing skills.<\/li>\n
    2. Islamic Education:<\/strong> Teaching the Quran, Hadiths, Seera (Prophet’s biography), and Aqeedah (Islamic creed).<\/li>\n
    3. Recreational Activities:<\/strong> Such as football, swimming, and horseback riding.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The project is designed to support orphans by offering educational opportunities linked to a monthly sponsorship of $20<\/strong>. This sponsorship funds the children’s participation in training and educational activities, creating a bridge between financial aid and personal development.<\/p>\n

      Key Milestones<\/strong><\/h3>\n

      1. 2018:<\/strong> The project was launched under the name “One Nation”<\/em> with 100 orphaned children, and activities were distributed across four main mosques in Atma and Qah camps.<\/li>\n
      2. September 2018:<\/strong> The “One Ummah”<\/em> project was launched with 161 children, expanding activities to additional mosques.<\/li>\n
      3. October 2019:<\/strong> The “My Orphan”<\/em> project introduced specialized training in computer skills, karate, horseback riding, and English, alongside Quranic and recreational activities.<\/li>\n
      4. 2020:<\/strong> The “Seeds of Hope”<\/em> project enrolled 48 children following a similar structure.<\/li>\n
      5. 2022:<\/strong> The “One Nation”<\/em> project continued with 160 children after the “My Orphan”<\/em> and “Seeds of Hope”<\/em> projects concluded.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Eligibility Criteria for Orphans:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

        1. Children aged between 7 and 13 years.<\/li>\n
        2. The child must have lost a parent or have a parent missing or detained.<\/li>\n
        3. The child should not be receiving sponsorship from any other organization.<\/li>\n
        4. Commitment to attending training and activities is mandatory.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Post-Admission Process:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

          After acceptance, a detailed registration form is filled out for each child, including personal data and information about the sponsor.<\/p>\n

The family survives by collecting spoiled vegetables from the market due to extreme poverty.<\/p>\n
