Yusuf Mosque – The Jewel of Al-Jawz Model Village

Yusuf Mosque stands out with its distinctive design and strategic location within Al-Jawz Model Village. Positioned in the southern part of the village near the highway, the mosque is an ideal destination for worshippers from both within and outside the village. It is surrounded by two main roads on the southern and northern sides, with dedicated parking spaces for easy access.

Location and Architectural Design

The mosque boasts a unique design, featuring:

A main hollow dome with a diameter of 6 meters, reflecting the classic beauty of Islamic mosques.
Four smaller domes with a diameter of 2.2 meters each, located on the northern side, adding an artistic touch.
A minaret standing 11 meters tall, built atop the staircase structure, enhanced by an additional 2.7 meters in height, making it a prominent architectural landmark in the area.

Interior Amenities

The mosque is thoughtfully designed to cater to the needs of worshippers and travelers alike, including:

A dedicated space for travelers and those observing I’tikaf (spiritual retreat), offering comfort and tranquility.
A staircase tower featuring panoramic glass facades, blending modern aesthetics with traditional design.
Doors on the northern side and an additional door on the eastern side to ensure smooth entry and exit for worshippers, facilitating quick evacuation after prayers.
An elevated structure raised by 1.2 meters above ground level to provide optimal ventilation and natural lighting for the basement floor.

The mosque spans a total built-up area of 1,129 square meters, distributed as follows:

Ground floor: 435 square meters.
Mezzanine floor for women: 240 square meters, ensuring complete privacy.
Basement floor: 454 square meters.

The mosque can accommodate 650 worshippers, with fully equipped facilities, including:

Modern ablution areas and restrooms.
Spacious outdoor courtyards for the convenience of worshippers.
